- Marcelo Maciel de Almeida
- I’m majored in Languages and Literature (Portuguese-English) by “Universidade Federal de Uberlândia” (UFU), where I’m also post-graduate in “Discourse Anlaysis”. I have been teaching English language since 1998 in school languages. In 2005, I started teaching Portuguese. Nowadays, I have been a public servant in a public school, besides teaching English at Sociedade de Cultura Inglesa (Uberaba). I’m very fond of studying languages. As a result of that, apart from Portuguese, I can also speak Spanish and a little French. I intend to continue my studies in French as soon as I have time. In my free time, I like reading, going to the club to work out, watching films, going to the theatre, playing the keyboard and piano and writing. I also like staying in. On Sundays, I play the keyboard at the local church. I hate alcoholic drinks. I love Classical music. My favourite singer is Enya, a very peculiar style which some call “new age”. Honestly, I’m addicted to her. I can’t put up with heavy metal, however, I like some rock bands such as The Cranberries. I also like MPB, especially Vanessa da Mata, Rita Lee.
